Dalepak’s Cheese & Onion Crispbakes are a combination of potato, onion, Red Leicester cheese and medium fat soft cheese, lightly seasoned and coated in a crisp golden breadcrumb.
After trying the Dalepak Mushroom Crispbakes last week, I was worried these would be too soft for my taste and although, yes, the filling was soft, it was beautifully cheesy and oniony and complimented perfectly by the crispy breadcrumb coating.
Each packet contains four crispbakes and I served up two each which was far too much – one each would have been plenty, these crispbakes are substantial and filling.
Dalepak Cheese & Onion Crispbakes contain 192 calories per crispbake, are Vegetarian Society approved and available from Asda, Cooltrader and Nisa (no, I haven’t heard of Cooltrader either).
