Raw Cacao Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp raw cacao
  • 2 tsp maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 250 ml dairy-free milk (almond, oat, cashew, coconut, soya, etc.)

Equipment

  • microwave
  • milk frother

Method
 

  1. Spoon the raw cacao into a cup or mug
  2. Add a bit of the milk and stir or whisk thoroughly until there are no lumps
  3. Stir in the rest of the milk
  4. Microwave on full power for 90 seconds. Microwave in ten second increments until it's at a temperature to your liking.
  5. Add more maple syrup if it's not sweet enough.
