Last week I toasted a sandwich in my HealthyFry air fryer and it was undoubtedly the best toasted sandwich I’ve ever had, so yesterday I experimented with a wrap and made an air fried wrap with Violife Creamy (vegan cream cheese available in most supermarkets – you can find it in the chilled ‘free from’ section), olives, mushrooms, capers and sriracha (hot chilli sauce available in most supermarkets) and that was just as good, if not better, so I decided in the interests of the human population (or at least in the interests of the three people who read this blog) to make another and photograph it to share with you before gobbling it up.
Today’s wrap contained Violife Creamy, olives, spinach, sundried tomato and sriracha, which resulted in the melted Violife combining with the spicy sriracha to make a wonderfully oozy sauce coating the rest of the ingredients inside the tortilla wrap which had crisped up beautifully. Air frying the wrap had the added bonus of the wrap holding together and not falling open as they are wont to do if they’re overfilled (or, sometimes, even if they’re not overfilled but have just decided to be annoying and deconstruct themselves and no one wants a deconstructed wrap because that’s not a wrap, it’s just a pile of ingredients).
I’ve found you your new favourite lunch. You can thank me later.
- 1 tortilla wrap
- Fillings of your choice (I used Violife Creamy, spinach, olives, sundried tomatoes and sriracha)
- Place your fillings on the wrap
- Wrap the wrap
- Air fry at 150C for 10 minutes
